Salt Lake City, opening the west May 29, 2017 Our Westward Ho Adventure continued west from Vernal to Salt Lake City, Utah. Saying good-bye to Green River Campground was a bit hard because we like the peace and quiet of the area, but the road was calling and we answered. While around Salt Lake we stayed in two different and distinct "campgrounds". We made reservations at Jordonelle State Park which was east of Salt Lake. It was on a beautiful lake which was nice to wake up to the awsome view. We drove around the area which included Park

Canyon Adventrues May 14, 2017 We chose the OK RV Park in Spanish Valley, just south of Moab, UT. It was a small campground that had about 60 sites. When I originally made the reservation, we were going to be in the overflow area with water and electric, but we got a very happy surprise upon our arrival. We got a full hookup site. I was very excited about visiting both Arches and Canyonlands because I had heard so much about them and some of the pictures I had seen were amazing. As I found out later, I was not disappointed.
